Linguini Bolognese

  • Level: Beginner
  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Cook Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ Large White or Yellow Onions
  • 5 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 cans San Marzano Tomatoes
  • Small handful of Basil
  • ½ can of water
  • 2 – 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • A splash of Red Wine
  • 2 pounds of linguine
  • toothpick method of YL Taste of Italy essential oil

Instructions

  1. Prep: Dice the onions & chop garlic.

  2. Saute the onions for 3 minutes.

  3. Add garlic, continue to saute for another 2 minutes.

  4. Add ground beef, cook until brown.

  5. Add red wine, reduce by half, add tomatoes and water. Simmer on med-low for an hour and a half. Stir occasionally.
    (At this point, your house will smell DIVINE!!!!)

  6. Finish with chopped basil, and swirl in Taste of Italy oil with toothpick.
