Prep Time: 20 minutes ~ Cook Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
- 1 ½ Large White or Yellow Onions
- 5 cloves of Garlic
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 cans San Marzano Tomatoes
- Small handful of Basil
- ½ can of water
- 2 – 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- A splash of Red Wine
- 2 pounds of linguine
- toothpick method of YL Taste of Italy essential oil
Prep: Dice the onions & chop garlic.
Saute the onions for 3 minutes.
Add garlic, continue to saute for another 2 minutes.
Add ground beef, cook until brown.
Add red wine, reduce by half, add tomatoes and water. Simmer on med-low for an hour and a half. Stir occasionally.
(At this point, your house will smell DIVINE!!!!)
Finish with chopped basil, and swirl in Taste of Italy oil with toothpick.
