Cooking with Essential Oils
There are so many benefits our family sees daily from using Essential Oils. We believe in the potent benefits of the highly concentrated oils that come from the plants, herbs, trees, gardens, you name it. If nature grows it, there is absolutely a way to distill the essential oil from the item in a highly concentrated form. The FDA doesn’t monitor essential oils, but they do have a list that is called Generally Regarded as Safe (GRAS) essential oils. We will use all of these specifically.
We also want to make sure you know the difference in quality of oils. There are many on the market that you absolutely CANNOT ingest. Please always read your labels. If the label says DO NOT INGEST, then you may not use that oil! If it reads “Dietary” it is a GRAS oil. All of our recipes use Young Living essential oils, we work exclusively with this company and do not recommend or support any other oils.
